No, what I am saying is that your union leadership is only as strong as your pilot group. I'm not saying what they did was the right answer but it probably helped the bleeding at the time with respect to attrition. Which in turn helped all of us and probably equated to keeping a few more 200's on property. The majority of those LOA's passed during that time was the company throwing noodles at a wall to see what stuck. If it helped the company and all/part of the pilot group then it passed. It didn't hurt anyone. It just wasn't fair.

Agree to disagree, I guess. I see it as hurting many. And by not being fair does that by nature. In my opinion it actually hurt the company the most. It angered so many FO's and excellerated the already high attrition just to pamper a select few of the pilot group. Then to slow the excellerated bleeding the company offers the retention bonuses

hey guys going on my 3rd referral here. my buddy got a call about a week ago earliest interview they could do is second week of april. are we really doing that many interviews? I remember when I got a call they flew me out the same week. Also seeing a lot of guys and gals in the crew room that came from other airlines. I don't seem to believe in a shortage... it was a pay shortage the money and living in base is the reason I left the 135 private jet freight world. anyone really drinking the pilot shortage cool aid? cause I'm not.

Listen dkweed. You don't want to hear it, don't read it. It's that easy. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read it!!! If you want the company and the union to run all over you, so be it. Then don't complain later when it impacts you.

So the ssp doesn't benefit the northwest flow pilots who turned it down so the ssp must be bad in your eyes? Its all or nothing? I suppose raising minimum wage also makes you mad since it doesn't benefit too gojooff

Nice try at putting words in my mouth. I never mentioned either of those things. My frustration is with the union on the two LOA's that I specifically mentioned, and how I feel they should get feedback from the pilot group before they implement an LOA. That's the extent of it. You turned it into a blanket statement regarding the SSP. Am I talking to a union rep here. Because I feel you can't be subjective?

think you can do better. LOA's are best left to OUR elected officials
than having 1500 pilots give their 2 cents and never agree on anything.
