I'm pretty sure there's a company code for the local airport taxi in MSP (the maroon one), but I don't remember what it is. I had to use it a few times during initial sims when the hotel shuttle wasn't available.

You have to use a program called Concur on Deltanet. However, if it’s the first time you’ve used it, you need to email base management to get access. Once you do, they’ll send you a form to fill out and email back. After that, your account will be up and ready to use in a couple of days.

Thanks!

They moved locations on Virginia Ave in Feb/Mar 18. No longer next to Delta Credit Union. Further down by Waffle House now.

I mostly just feel bad for the Delta pilots that are no longer going to get on the flight now that the FAs are going to be wanting the jump seat.

Feel bad for delta pilots? Lmaaaaaoooooo.

You can also roll over into a self directed Ira and buy real estate, trade stocks in your own account etc. check out Matt Sorensen online. He is an expert attorney in the field.

Finally someone with some good sense replied. People don’t get the power they have over their retirement funds.

Two examples: Don't buy a beach rental then stay there for even a day; Don't pick up a screwdriver to fix the door knob or do the paining yourself.

I have used my IRA to buy real estate and made much more than the stocks I sold to fund my Self Directed IRA. There are a number of sources online to educate yourself.

Exactly right. My IRA is full of real estate in the form of REIT funds and stocks. The beauty or having a ROtH IRA is that all dividends and capital gains within the IRA are tax-free. It’s the best thing ever for personal wealth.

PBS is down :(

AimHigh1 06-05-2018 07:30 PM

PBS is up ^

Anyways.. Could someone inform me on the pay situation when enabling MLR? I understand it's supposed to be 150% over 85..I don't see it in Rainmaker yet, and am wondering if it's supposed to be in there or if it shows up at a later date?

Thanks!

Before the 16th paycheck the next month an empty line will have the comment saying "MLR enabler" and the amount of pay in a POTHR column which is 50% of your eligible hours over 85.

Start looking for it around the 9th. That's the day I've been seeing it get updated

delta announced they are overstaffed in some categories. Hiring has stopped until Autumn perhaps.

New-hire 900 FOs instead of differences?

Waiting for the union memo...

Hope they at least get pay raise...

That doesn’t surprise me. It was to be expected that guys/gals would take a class elsewhere than wait 6-8 Monthes for one here. We have a lot to offer, better than most, but there are still competitive options it there.

This is due to a deal between delta and TSH to acquire CZ fell through a hole early last week. So delta recalibrated, resumed us to normal ops and we will see what happens soon.

TalkTurkey 06-07-2018 03:05 PM

In delta news today, D terminal at LGA today shat and peed on the delta chief pilots office as well as their pilot lounge when it backflowed wastewater into their ops.

If EDV is not acquiring more planes, why would they increase/pick up hiring?

I think he's implying that the deal was to bring CP pilots and planes to 9E so you wouldn't need to hire as much. If the pilots aren't coming however, more need to be hired.

And yet still nicer than our LGA crew rooms.

You clearly never heard the rainwater music at AWACS 35x in DCA dance

Planes are still coming to EDV, just not pilots from anywhere but OTS.

Mesabah 06-07-2018 04:00 PM

But mergers are so much fun!

I get it, but there’s been no real confirmation of anything, has there? This is all still rumor and conjecture.

Yes they are. Merging is not off the table though. Delta is a master at negotiating. In fact I’d buy someone dinner if they can find online how much Delta paid for each of their 777 purchased from Asia. But I’d lose my anonymity and would t be able to Talk Turkey anymore. TSH may still do this but another round of negotiations are in order.

Yeah... I can't get a restful nap unless I hear the sound of water and poo coursing through the crew room. Looking back, I just wonder how AWAC thought that was acceptable.

AH memories of the Mesaba crew room under B concourse in DTW years ago.. seemed at least once a year some dumbarse would flush a diaper down the toilets upstairs in the terminal creating a nasty flood. Enjoy SkyWest!

Straight up date of hire and I'm all for it... I'm ready to visit something past the Central time zone again.

In 2017, Ed B made $13,205,703.00
Not bad.
G. West got $7,491,190.00
Hard work pays off I suppose.

There has never been a plan to buy Compass pilots.

The dgi needs to be a real success here or flow instituted in order for morale not to tank once this program gets up and running.

Or they'll kick the can down the road with shifting of more airplanes here keeping the growth going or tossing a little more money our way rather than hiring us at mainline... keeping the carrot dangling. It's time the union explore hiring paths to companies other than Delta, Not every pilot wants to work at Delta (nor should every pilot want to)
