If I'm assigned a ready reserve shift and end up flying does that shift count forward the max 10 per month?

To secure the future of this airline, Delta needs to put in place a solid career progression, whether that be a flow or a staple.

A staple will never happen. Delta can get 1700 pilots if they want, at mainline. Getting 1700 pilots at a DCI carrier is more useful to them. Some sort of flow/enhanced DGI or whatever is more likely. They need something to make Endeavor attractive and keep people there; Delta is not having any issues getting pilots on their certificate yet.
