Never hurts to ask, I had about a 75% success rate in getting released a couple hours early. If there's any sort of IROP or WX then it will most likely be no. You might want to look into trying to sit ready reserve to get off earlier. I used to volunteer for RR on the last day using the company site, but that was for P1, not sure if you can do it for P2, though.

I got released last Friday from P2 at 10:27am. Early Christmas present I guess.

"Hello just wondering if I could be released from my last 4 legs, really not feeling it."

Happens... then some poor reserve gets to miss his commute home instead to cover that dropped flying

I hope this is a joke. Let me know the next time you can call crew scheduling and drop 4 legs off your trip just because you want to. I'll give you my next retention bonus...

Well i was speaking in a slightly different situation: asking for alternate deadheads to something other than home (for vacation) or switching an early deadhead to the night before to allow for a longer overnight/later show, etc.

But yeah if you could release me from those last 4 legs that'd be grrreaat..

Anybody know if the training department observes Martin Luther King Jr. day? Classes held on that day?

My class last February started a day later because HR wasn't in the office for MLK day. But I don't know if the whole training department does

Sims don't observe it. I doubt ground school does too. Unless it's day 1 like Taco had.
