No growth doesn't mean no movement up the seniority list nor does it mean no hiring or upgrading. So your comment is slightly misleading. Compass has paused hiring for a couple of months due to the removal of 6 planes (about 60 pilots worth). Attrition has been and will be the name of the game for all regionals. Most major airlines have reached scope limit so most regionals will not "grow" with the exception of Alaska airlines and a few United planes. There will always be the regional airplane shuffle so that could have an effect but NO one is safe to be honest.

We are expected to get back to full-steam-ahead in terms of hiring and upgrading in late spring. Over 100 upgrades are expected this year which means we need to hire. That is NOT rumor but announced.

But if you want immediate movement, especially in MSP like the original post was about, then Compass isn't your airline this time around. Ask again in about 6 months and the story will have a different tone.
