MSP Base
#1
I have applications in to numerous regionals. I am looking for my best option regarding a MSP base out of training. Compass was first on my list, until they opened up their LAX base, which I assume is junior. Does anyone know how junior MSP is for Skywest? Should I be looking at Endeavor or any other airline? Thanks...

You'd be able to get MSP at CP way before when would if you went to Skywest and got the bro. Plus no outstation commute...

I second compass...no base is safe with delta at the reigns though. Since being at compass for 7 years, we've heard everything from ord opening, lga opening, slc opening, and so far the only thing that has happened is the recent Lax opening. No regional in MSP is a sure thing as delta could shift flying at any time. Look at how much endeavor has shrunk (combined mesaba and pinnacle) and how much Skywest has grown. Compass will be Msp crew base for a while since a lot of people live there. There's no way TSA wants to assume the payments to force move people to the west coast.

Definitely Compass or SkyWest. Endeavor continues to lose money and is shrinking. They're only hiring for attrition. Anything is possible, but based off of present day facts they aren't a viable option unless you love gambling.

Well, I'm not meaning to be argumentative, but I think SkyWest, Compass, and Endeavor are all hiring for attrition only. I'm not aware of any growth at those companies.
