So you propose everyone live in your bases with a high cost of living? NYC? MIA? DFW? Maybe they can all share a flat in southside ORD...bring your side piece. C'mon man!

This is a qol issue so I thought I'd ask it here. I'm a new hire and reserve @ LGA. My schedule for July is loaded up and not many days off. Twice I've got 5/2. Is there anything I can do to get a few more days off?
RF 100 DROP It will be approved if you're in a status that has plenty of staffing. I've gotten plenty of drops in the past. Guys will say they haven't had a drop approved in months or years, but it's usually because they hold a different status that is short. I'm not sure how LGA FO is staffed right now, but it's worth a shot. You'll lose pay though, so it's a bit of a trade off. |
I do believe peanut butter said that like 7 yrs ago. "Commuting is a lifestyle choice". And then all our bases closed one by one, 1000 guys left, and here we are. FYI even if they have staffing they will say they don't because they need to be able to fly you out to dallas to do a Waco overnight. Should have done your research. Dacuj you there?
