How many seats would we need to take out to make them scope compliant?

It's a weight issue rather than a seat number issue. The newer 175 isn't within scope so the 190 definitely isn't.

Great News indeed!

If only I had a USD for every school house rumor that was DEFINITELY going to be true...this time ;D

I think there is one small word missing from your statement:
"the word is we will be getting AA E190 SIMULATOR. Instructor seemed positive."

But otherwise your statement is probably mostly partly correct. At least the part about your Recurrent/Probationary check ride.

This is a game changer.

The E190 is a sweet plane, I'm willing to commute in order to fly the E190

The E190 gives you that competitive edge vs the E75, CRJ, EMB.
Remember, they need you more than you need them. Its a pilots market

E190 time weighs more than all three, CRJ, EMB, E75

This has to be a violation of the Terms and Conditions, moderators.

E-175 you're joking right? There is no way you are that naive that you really want scope relaxed further so you can fly bigger planes at Envoy. Your flow time to AA would double. Legacy airlines don't care if you have E-145 time or E-175 time. They care about jet PIC and that's all. You give regional pilots a bad name and you are a risk to the airline pilot profession. PS, the 175 takes less skill to fly than a 145. Hopefully, if you ever click off the auto throttles early you don't pull an Asiana, but you probably will...
