Default E190 coming our way?

Just came from Recurrent/Probationary check ride and the word is
we will be getting AA E190. Instructor seemed positive.

Great News indeed!

I mean I realize this is a troll account I'm quoting, but scope doesn't allow this.

Moving on....

How the heck is that not a violation of AA's scope language?

You're pretty ignorant of history if you think this is great news. You're taking away your own mainline job.

Terrible News indeed! Fixed it for you

Next you'll rejoice if they say 737, 757 etc to fly at Envoy for regional pay!

Yeah @ $55k/ year including signing bonus... Can't wait to see what concessions the Envoy pilot group gives so this will happen. Pay raises capped out at 4yr CA? 100% of healthcare paid by employee? flow reduced to 5% of all AA new hires?

Terrible idea.

Good Luck with that. APA is hell bent on defending Scope. On top of that, if the goal is to flow to AA as quickly as possible you want more aircraft and flying to go to AA then for more of it to come here. Why would you want to do anything that would move that carrot further away?

When the music stops (and it will) you want to be where you want be.

Yeah, I don't see how any pilot but Envoy lifers seeing this as a good idea AND, don't see it getting past scope either. If this is a real rumor, I suspect it was started by someone with little knowledge of various contract situations that heard AA wanted to unload the 190s and assumed a regional like Envoy made sense.

so do you have plans of changing your handle name to E190 Driver? I'm sure if you ever make it to American they will be more than happy to put you in the right seat of a E190 in PHL. You will feel right at home.

How many seats would we need to take out to make them scope compliant?
