Legacy airlines don't care if you have E-145 time or E-175 time. They care about jet PIC and that's all. You give regional pilots a bad name and you are a risk to the airline pilot profession. PS, the 175 takes less skill to fly than a 145. Hopefully, if you ever click off the auto throttles early you don't pull an Asiana, but you probably will...

Yes, he's a troll.

Nope, happily employed at a Legacy flying a wide body 8 days a month. I never wanted to fly for Eagle or American. Im just doing what I can to look out for scope. Do you realize that if American relaxes scope further(which won't happen because most pilots with any airline experience at all know how dumb that is), American will furlough 1000 pilots over-night? You would move backwards on the Envoy seniority list and flow time to American would go back up to 15 plus years again. Do you still think you're an American pilot? Haha! I hear flight instructors in the Envoy pipeline program are also American Airline pilots. After all, their paychecks say American and they get American flight benefits right? So what do you say 175, are you still an American Pilot? Lol!

Obviously either you are heavily trolling or just unimaginably uninformed about widely known topics such as scope at AA. We are all assuming you are a troll because it doesn't seem possible that somebody could be so stupid to believe that AA pilots would allow scope relief at this moment in time, and also stupid enough to think that further scope erosion would be anything but horrible news. I'm spelling this out for you on the very remote chance you are serious. Because it seems so stupid and pointless to troll this hard. And also ever since you posted that you thought senior lifers taking flow slots from more junior captains would result in more upgrades, I had the impression that just maybe you really are as dumb as you seemed. Trolling still seems more likely, but who knows, flat earth believers exist, maybe you actually believe what you post.

While I agree about scope, I think the comment about the 145 being harder is a tad incorrect. I think they each have their own hard/easy aspects. Moving thrust levers isn't hard and if you can't handle that by the time you are flying for an airline, well, enough said.

No one will furlough 1000 pilots overnight Gramps. Have you heard about the pilot shortage and retirements going on? Last I checked, my pay stub, my id, uniform are identical to AA's.

I will upgrade next year and be at AA the year after.

Not bad.

1- It's for much less money, and says ENVOY AIR INC. at the top
2- Also says ENVOY
3- The insignia are different, being the now generic American Eagle brand. But they are the same as Piedmont and PSA.

You were hired in April of last year, dipstick. So was I. There is no way in Hell you're flowing in 3 years. Even the recruiters aren't trying to sell that line of BS. My ID says Envoy at the bottom, just like yours. Grow a brain.

Scary to think someone as unaware as you is going to upgrade in a year. I guess I was bombing around in the left seat of a crj at 23. That was 2007, so, Gramps? Ok. I'll check back in two years and see you're still another 3 years away from flowing and that's if nothing bad happens i.e. Age 67, economic slowdown, etc. Things aren't always going to be as awesome as they have been the last 4 years. I am well aware of American's massive retirements. That is sick and I'm happy flow time is going to approach 5.5 years for some. You may have hit it just right! I'm also aware of American's huge debt and 15000 total pilots that are just now going live with pbs and the efficiencies of the merger that have yet to be realized. But yeah, nothing bad could ever slow down your flow. Keep drinking the company kool-aid. You might want to finish up that degree just in case...
