I know there are a lot of new hires coming through the doors at Envoy these days. Getting your 401k started is probably the last thing on the list of things to get done for many of you, but the earlier you can get started the better. I've been using EZTracker for several years now and have had great results. They have different portfolio models to track depending on if you want aggressive, conservative, or moderate. I know a lot of people in the past have used it, and thats how I found out about it. They publish a monthly newsletter thats extremely informative. Not a sales pitch but just a strong recommendation...and I hope for them to keep publishing the newsletter throughout the future. Plus with the FO pay now theres no excuse not to chip in at least enough to get the company match.
You can get a free sample of the newsletter by emailing or calling the number:

I don't use it myself but have heard good things.
The most important point is GET THE COMPANY MATCH!! ITS FREE MONEY!!
The union includes a bit about 401k enrollment probably once a quarter in its emails, and it's always stunning to me how many people don't partake in the program. I get that some might need all the money they could get, but enrollment is maybe 2/3 of the pilot group and that's it.

Not quite a year at the company and I thought putting more to my mortgage was a better investment than the 401k. But once I’m eligible for the match, I don’t want to leave any money in the AAG coffers once I am eligible.
But I really don’t understand this EZ Tracker and all the fees. I have several 401k from other companies and never had to pay anything. You chose your fund and put in what ever you wanted. I never jumped around funds but thought that was always an option with them.
So can you just contribute? I really don’t want to pay for brokerage fees or investment advice.
