AA doesn’t have pilots for Christmas

Might impact your commute. We use different bidding systems so MQ shouldn’t have any issues related to this.

That’s just wrong. I hope the union is going to stand up to this. No way should any, ANY regional be doing mainline flying. Maybe they should up the flow????

I agree. Sadly, the entire "regional" industry exists as an inferior replacement for a decent mainline career. All planes should be flown by mainline. Unfortunately, they have given away scope repeatedly, and that's why the inferior "regional" mess exists today.

Well, according to the union, which I have asked, they will not allow any portion of our contract be violated and will not allow anything be changed without express consent with APA if it harms their position with management.

No thanks, because according to ALPA top brass they intend to follow our contract and will not do anything that will hurt APAs bargaining power with AA. Besides, I’m a year away from flowing.

Then you've been around long enough that you don't have an excuse for not knowing that quite literally all of the flying you do used to be mainline flying.
