That would be known as a Junior Man. There can’t be any other pilot legal for trip and they can only do it to you twice a month and 12 times a calendar year.

Is this even likely?? There are on average 19-25 guys available each day in ord and lga sitting reserve.. tomorrow about 39
It isn't likely for FOs right now but it is for CAs. |
As far as RAP1 and RAP2. When 10am comes around, do they start calling RAP2 before calling any RAP1's? Or do they still call most jr regardless?

They will call the most junior that can legally do the trip.

Provided the captain isn’t junior as well. I’ve been called a few times with 10+ below me who didn’t have 75 hrs in type because the CA was fresh off ioe. |
Do you have a long call reserve? Could one sit in IAH and commute up or drive to DFW on reserve?

No long call reserve at Envoy. I think Mesa has an IAH domicile though

How easy is it to commute from IAH to DFW? Would it require coming in the night before and can I get home the same day my trip ends? How many night will I be away from home with DFW base? Thanks.
