This last one came a couple weeks early didn't it?

How do you correlate bid frequency to training capacity? He means the bids although smaller will be more frequent. Example a pilot hired with 121 time the day after a bid is awarded shouldn't wait four months to start CA training. Three months to the next bid plus 14 days from training to notification.

So you think they are putting new-hires straight into CA training, who are then going to sit at home on payroll waiting for the next vacancy bid process to happen every 3-3.5 months, to get the award and be legal to fly? I can pretty much guarantee you that’s not the plan.

In the second to last bid, many made CA in another equipment and base and in this last one where switched to another equipment and base because guys senior to them are displacing in front of them..

Example: in September a guy gets E175 ORD CA, then now is told he’s going to NYC e145 CA

When is the bonus paid out? All on day one of training? What’s the net pay after taxes? It depends on your state of residency but I’m guessing $30k on average.

Live in TX and it was $27007 day 1. Chose Legacy aircraft so got another $3500 4 weeks later in the mail. So all in $30507. Already spent it on hookers and beer!

Cannot answer when for certain, but it is likely the first day just like the initial $17,100 bonus. If one gets the 145/700 extra bonus, it is mailed to your home address and received in a week.

Regarding taxes: 25% federal taxes (standard “one-off” bonus tax rate), Social Security & Medicare (7.65%), and state (if applicable).

This exact scenario will play out with all the steeet captains they are hiring. Except they will be pushed down the list as opposed to being moved off of equipment.
