Average around 95 to 100 maybe more pending on how much OT is available. I understand because you hold a line you can have more days off and therefore pick up more OT than someone on reserve but at the end of the day while your getting 120 hours of credit and I知 getting 100 hours of credit, I知 only Flying 36 hours total that month while if your flying a line you are probably do 75-80 hours of flying plus any overtime you pick up on the side. All I知 saying is while you are working to get the 120 hours of credit I知 sitting at home and working 3-4 days a month as a senior FO on reserve getting close to 100 hours of credit.

Your math is still off. I知 only ACTUALLY flying total 77 average hour per month INCLUDING the OT I pick up and crediting an average of 120-130 hours a month. I知 also getting 12-13 days on average at home (that I can稚 be called in for).

You池e obviously not at LGA either because the most senior FO on reserve in LGA is seniority 1770 something (probably hired 6-8 months after me) and getting used for stby or flying regularly. So if I bid a reserve line in LGA I壇 spend more days AT work for much less credit hours being called in all the time.

Not only is your math off, but you池e also comparing different bases with much different usage of reserve bodies. I知 guessing your base, senior FO痴 on reserve won稚 get called in at all hence the desire to bid a reserve line.

That all being said I don稚 quite understand why you feel the need to disparage someone for wanting to uograde and get some PIC jet time and move on to other things? Not everyone is locked in to flowing to AA that works at Envoy, there痴 a whole wide world of different options for employment. If you personally plan to sit at home on reserve and cherry pick OT on your days off then good for you, I壇 rather be doing that on CA痴 wages if I知 going to be called in to sit STBY anyway at LGA.

As a mid to upper 1/3rd of the list FO on the 175 in DFW in December i worked three times, two of those I profered for as I was bored. That total was 27 hours. In September I only did 18. Living in base makes being a sand bag on reserve highly tolerable. Viva dinero con no trabajo.
