Default CRJ reserve time?

Hello y’all, just got the CRJ ORD and wanted to see anyone that has some realistic answers to what the reserve time is now. Thanks!

It's anyone's guess. There are a ton of factors that go into that based on when you're going to hit the line. Plan on 6 months. Could be more, could be less. Maybe you won't want a line anyway. I'm starting to wish I'd bid back to reserve for Feb..

Why wouldn’t you want a line?

Super senior so you never have to fly. Wait for upgrade so you get the base and A/C you want. Many more reasons.

Speaking on the CRJ. Have y’all heard anything about the remaining tails?

I’m starting to hear more rumors around the FAA stopping the transfer to us or that they are going to XJT.

The latest AAG SEC Filing shows additional 700s and Airportal is showing XJT and y’all taking over more of our routes this spring.

There have been rumors for a few months that the transfer from Envoy to PSA will stop. But those rumors haven't come to fruition so far. I don't see why they'd be going to XJT. However, XJT is going to have 6-8ish (can't remember the exact number) additional 700s begin flying in DFW sometime this year. But those aircraft are being transferred from ATL as a result of the Delta flying going away.

A buddy of mine in the CRJ was hired in June and still has not gotten a line. I've heard for the first time someone from his class was awarded a composite line for February.

What’s the possibility of me changing airframes or being displaced?

Not chance until you upgrade. The CRJs will be around for awhile even though they should have been gone for over a year and a half ago.
