^^^. I have to admit I’d work a bit harder to fly if there wasn’t a flow. I do my best to stay home and spend time with the family. I pick up OT to increase my monthly credit, but my time away from base is extremely low. If there wasn’t the the flow then I would be at any LCC or major that would take me. I live in DFW so I’m content with waiting for the flow or getting hired by AA through the front door.

I'm going nuts with so much behind the scenes. Just when I'm about to reject other regional offers thinking Envoy was the right choice to the point I'm almost willing to wait a few months to start training I find myself having 2nd thoughts...

Where do you currently have other offers and where do you live? Do you have any iligible part 121 time that counts towards uograde?

Envoy has its fair share of issues, but depending on your own personal circumstances the place can be a good deal, but it can also be your worse nightmare.

The place won’t ever be perfect, but at the moment there’s no middle ground whereby the entire pilot group can be reasonably happy.

If you’re an FO that needs to build the 1000 hours it’s a fairly good place to work. As a junior CA unless you live in base at LGA life will be miserable.

Yes I'm a rookie in that regard. It'd suck upgrading just to be on reserve for the longest time. Seems that all the value added benefits have narrow down to commuter friendly bases and flow insurance...

In your circumstances then Envoy would be ok. I would pick a regional wherever you can live in base and drive to work, even if it might take you 6 months or so to end up at that base (the initial time will fly by).

1st part: I think they have their apps out (unless they are lying, which I doubt). They are not getting the Mainline carriers to bite on their apps and get called in for interviews. Maybe not standing out as much vs those trying to standout who don’t have the flow. But overall Flow no flow why have ur apps out for the ****ttts & giggle. Facts remain no matter the reason. You want mainline beyond AMERICAN, go somewhere else. AA your top choice? Welcome to Envoy,Piedmont & Blue Streeek.

Envoy is a good place to work if u live in base. I enjoy my time here. I got in at a great time/spot. If you commute, the schedules and uncertainties makes this place is a bearly-bear-able place to work.

2nd part: Yes, and that is the problem, not as many people are leaving & applying themselves and the company knows that, so we are where we are as a company and our below status quo quality of life/work rules, and now compensation.

Again, I may come off sour at times, but I love my job and what I do, I enjoy working with the people I work with every day, I enjoy living in base, I enjoy the potential of Envoy Air, the past pride of American Eagle, and my potential future at American Airline.

Just want to point out that there is a difference between 'having your apps out' and updating your apps often. If you're not doing the latter, you can say you have your apps out but you might as well not.
