That’s the company we chose to work for..

Again I wish I could rewind to last year before coming here. (Not that simple to just quit with a commitment letter and a nice short stent on the resume)

My short time here has been filled with misleading information, lies, poor QOL. My family life has come to a screeching halt.

For anyone considering coming here... Don’t unless you live in NY!

Line check airman keep doing the same thing they’re already doing anyway, perhaps with less students.

Some Sim instructors will get sent back to the line for a few months over summer.
Displacing from the training department isn’t a huge deal. What is a big deal is hitting the pause button on hiring at a time when they are flowing 25/month indefinitely.

It shows that Envoy is way over staffed and seniority is about to stagnate for everyone on the list. If you live in base, great. Bid reserve and sit at home. But if you came to Envoy recently, you may be regretting that decision in the very near future as your few months of commuting may have just turned into a year or two.

Yes I’m well aware of the situation, just pointing out that some Sim instructors flying the line over summer isn’t as bad as some are making out. I’m talking specifically for the instructors this applies to, not the effect on the overall pilot.

Good Riddance! Now my upgrade sim training on the E145 will be more pleasant with the professional sim instructors that actually enjoy teaching rather than making 100hrs of pay a month!

Enjoy being taught by ones who failed their own checkride a few times, plus never flown the real plane. plus your MV and LOE are still done by those who make 100 hours a month pay....

Wouldn't say the sky is falling. Adjustments are being made. No surprise we're really heavy on the FO side. We are getting new flying. Lines for next month are up and there's a ton of new flying we've never seen there.

Just a WAG, but I think the training department just needs Captains flying for the summer bump in flying while utilizing these non seniority list instructors. I haven’t worked with one of them yet, but it would seem to me hard to replace the valuable experience with Envoy operations that Check Airman bring to the classroom/ sim. Oh well, I guess. It appears company experience is not valued for training or for directly upgrading CA’s

Lines are up? Uhhh no. Do you keep up with each base or live in DFW land?
