Work hard? No. However, for those who’ve become accustomed to Autothrottles for speed control and VNAV for path control, to suddenly have no autothrottles or VNAV means they have to actually control speed ON THEIR OWN and manage the descent ON THEIR OWN. Oh, the HORROR! 🙄
