When did you first apply of you don't mind me asking?

No worries, I applied 2 Saturdays ago actually. Got a call from 'em that Monday (about 3 days later). Caught me off guard how fast they reached out to me to schedule the interview! Flew out day before, interviewed yesterday and Bob's your uncle

Commute

Anyone commute SLC to ORD or DFW? How is it? SLC to DFW seems easier based on flights?

I don’t commute that route, but I’d go with whoever has the most flight frequency. Another thing to consider is airframe types. (73 has 1 jump, airbus has 2) hope this helps your decision ! Welcome to Envoy.

Although it changes constantly, it also helps to commute on ENY metal if available. Priority on the JS comes in handy.

I recommend ORD. We have a few flights on our own metal, which gives you higher jump seat priority, but also gives you flights on all three legacies! Between DL, AA, and UA, you should be able to make it work pretty well. Welcome aboard!

Even though anything could happen seems as if ORD would be first stop out of training so that is definitely good to hear, appreciate the reply and thank you!

Another Update

Just posting another update. I interviewed February of last year. I re-interviewed after this covid stuff 2 months ago. I have not received a class date. But I was offered to come fly out to an orientation on the 30th and I will be put on payroll untill I am put in a class. Interesting concept. I also see they are now offering the 15k sign on bonus again. I haven't heard anything about it. Anyone know if they are going to offer that to us who have already been offered a job?

Yea they'll get you started on training pay so they can call you whenever they need you it seems. You'll also probably get access to travel privileges and jump seat.
