Understand this will all change month to month and depend on how many lines there are, how many leave, someone senior wanting certain days off and bidding reserve.
Best guess on the 175 is about 11/2019 hires. But that includes the times during Covid when we didn’t hire, from April 2020 to about June 2021. So for new hires maybe 10-11 months. Maybe less.
145 would be around 08/2019 hires. A little over a year or so.

So for a DFW 175 FO to get off of reserve they would need about an 11/2019 hire date as of today? Or 10-11 months? I'm not sure I get what you said, could you elaborate? Thx

there were no newhires between 3/2020 and 6/2021
so 11/2019 lineholder is 1/2022-11/2019-(6/2021-3/2020)= 25mo - 15mo = 10 months of seniority

Imagine how tough it’s going to be, finding FOs to displace to CA when so few meet the requirement.

Everyone that has the time is bailing…

Hole the size of an A-380 on the seniority list. PSA and PDT were already there.

Forced upgrades don’t help if there’s no one left to force. They only need to force upgrade when a significant number of FOs are bypassing upgrade even if they are qualified. How many of those are there right now?

Some people might be holding out for the 175, but if they really want the 175, displacing them won’t help the company since they can just bid across. They won’t be seatlocked unless they choose to be.

There is still the limitation on how many can bid jet to jet.

Junior guys will be in the 30% allowed to bid jet to jet since the senior guys won’t want to flow lock themselves
