Ultimate goal may or may not end up being AA (another legacy or an LCC/ULCC or even an ACMI could well end up being the primary objective), but I believe it’s wise to have the flow as insurance/backup (I’ve done the work to understand other regional options & what I’m giving up for the flow and WO’s are what make sense to us, all things considered).

As far as cost of living goes envoy would offer you the best options with DFW and MIA both achievable bases as a new hire. If you have no ties to any of the wholly owned basses I’ll be honest you should probably just come here, you’ll have good class seniority because of your age so you’d probably have a good shot at the 175. QOL is maybe just a bit better at envoy than PSA but both are definitely better than Piedmont. If you can maintain your living situation in DFW reserve won’t be so bad since you don’t have to commute.
