That's called natural selection :D

Obviously, IF the planes are transferred, it won't happen until the contract is up. Which is still a little ways off.

Wasn’t that a five year contract? It was signed in 2014, IIRC.

Five year contract beginning first quarter of 2015.

That’s not that far off then. A year until they start coming offline at Compass. Do you know what the intake rate was then? 2-3 a month I presume.

You guys seem eager to put the Compass guys out of work for your own personal gain. That's pretty sad.

I don’t think that anyone is eager to put them out of work. And with the rate their guys are getting hired, losing the AA contract would help them fully staff the DL flying. Nobody would be furloughed from the pilot ranks by losing AA. Now if DL takes their planes back that would be a devastating hit.

I don't think the majority of our guys would be happy if those planes came here. It wouldn't benefit our pilot group whatsoever. If anything, it'd be a detriment as it would just mean more required staffing and the resulting QOL hit that comes along with paper thin staffing that we know all too well.
