Default Loss of Medical

Anyone recommend a good loss of medical insurer? Also roughly how much a month are your premiums? Thanks!

Alpa policy isn't what you want, it only pays if you can't work any of job.

Best policy if your airline doesn't provide coverage (which envoy does not) is thru Harvey Watt. You can get up to 6000/month until age sixty five upon loss of medical. This is reported income, so you don't actually have to be making 6000 per month to buy the policy providing that benefit. The benefit also doesn't kick-in usually for up to 24 months. If that is an issue, you need to fill in with disability insurance. Rates depend on your age, but expect up to 250/month in your 30's for the max benefit (6000 per month). Once you get to a major, most have better plans than this.....

They also have some of the best rates of term life insurance for pro pilots as well.
