That would be awesome, and I sincerely hope we get that.

I’ve got a feeling though that if newhire numbers drop (and that’s a huge “if” thanks to the company setting up a steady supply of cadets/RTP), the company may pull a “FUINB” (..increase newhire bonuses) just to spite. Sure hope I’m wrong.

Perhaps that’s why they teased us with the AIP. Seems like it was an FU right back to the pilot group.

All I’m saying is it doesn’t help our cause to cast insults and expect good things in return.

You must be really new to the airline world. FUPM is a battlecry of Labor going back decades.

Envoys reputation is in free fall among cadets, CFI’s and applicants. I think management really underestimates how hard that will be to bring back, especially with the flow slowing down soon. One of my friends who received an offer here is off to Skywest now.

I wish this kind of drumbeat of management is evil, hates us, and would rather run the airline into the ground than toss us scraps had been out there when I was looking for regionals to work for. I could’ve used the first 2-5 years as an airline pilot far more productively.

No matter what happens with pay, contract, work rules, LOAs... that’s the gift that keeps on giving. Can’t wait to see how many poor EMJ FOs are getting tossed into the NYC meat grinder with no hotels.

I’m just over 3.5 years on property, first airline gig. So yes, relatively new to the industry. I’m also in my early 40’s and level headed, and my comments were genuinely aimed at helping our group get raises.

That’s great news if what you say is true about the company’s reputation and its negative effect on recruitment.

Huh? Are we talking about the same person? He is the Legislative Affairs Rep. He's also a district advocate for national. You are comparing him to new hire FA's. double rolleyes.

Or maybe the DCL CA that's already been hired as the LA CP would have some inside info for us.
