Being quiet and providing AAG with a high quality regional product hasn't worked either though. I'm all for trying new things.

Endeavor or better FUPM
That would be awesome, and I sincerely hope we get that. I’ve got a feeling though that if newhire numbers drop (and that’s a huge “if” thanks to the company setting up a steady supply of cadets/RTP), the company may pull a “FUINB” (..increase newhire bonuses) just to spite. Sure hope I’m wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m not sure of the logic behind telling the company “FUPM”. It sure wouldn’t motivate me to do anything positive for a group that is literally saying F me.
Perhaps that’s why they teased us with the AIP. Seems like it was an FU right back to the pilot group. All I’m saying is it doesn’t help our cause to cast insults and expect good things in return. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Envoys reputation is in free fall among cadets, CFI’s and applicants. I think management really underestimates how hard that will be to bring back, especially with the flow slowing down soon. One of my friends who received an offer here is off to Skywest now. |
I wish this kind of drumbeat of management is evil, hates us, and would rather run the airline into the ground than toss us scraps had been out there when I was looking for regionals to work for. I could’ve used the first 2-5 years as an airline pilot far more productively.
No matter what happens with pay, contract, work rules, LOAs... that’s the gift that keeps on giving. Can’t wait to see how many poor EMJ FOs are getting tossed into the NYC meat grinder with no hotels. |

You must be really new to the airline world. FUPM is a battlecry of Labor going back decades.

One of my friends who received an offer here is off to Skywest now. I’m just over 3.5 years on property, first airline gig. So yes, relatively new to the industry. I’m also in my early 40’s and level headed, and my comments were genuinely aimed at helping our group get raises. That’s great news if what you say is true about the company’s reputation and its negative effect on recruitment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

He holds no management positions. He also is not involved in any ALPA work that puts him in a position to know anything about what's going on. We might as well ask the new hire FA's what our future holds.

But one thing I hope all of you are doing (Especially Captains) is preaching this to your FO’s and definately the New Hires in property. They need to know the history and definitely not to take less than what we deserve. |

I don’t hang around B so I don’t hear that talk. I’d shut it down pretty quick if I did. I’ll be pretty angry if the union gave in.

Was there another email? I haven't received anything since news of the AIP.
Update on AIP, followed by “A stand alone communication regarding the AIP... to be distributed in the near future.” |

Looks like no progress has been made in a month.

Not with 30 new hires in class
|
ENY: we can’t give you what was in the AIP because AAG won’t give us the authority
MEC: which part can you not negotiate? ENY: cooling off period... MEC: ok so what CAN you negotiate? ENY: 2nd cooling off period... ENY 2 weeks from now: so how about those PSA rates? |
ENY: we have a thousand cadets lined up who would do your job for free. FUPME? FU. GFY.
