Eagle pilots were paid higher rates for the CRJ.

So not making the same amount of money!!!!!!! Probably on average about 13$ less an hour. Those planes were going to be flowing by 10+ year CAs but instead got flown by DECs.

I will grant you that Envoy Captains were paid more than PSA Captains on a credit hour basis in late 2013, but $13 an hour more? I highly, highly, doubt it. That number is probably a lot closer to 5, and neglects to consider the idea of the higher underlying PSA Large RJ rate that's a part of the blended rate by which we're paid.

In any event, you're still refusing to consider the implications of telling both your only customer and owner to pound sand in an environment that still had a lot of pilots available. But apparently you're still operating under the unrealistic expectation that every pilot looking for an RJ job was supposed to be well versed in your interpretation of the events of 2013/2014 and make their decisions accordingly. If that's not pie in the sky I don't know what is.....

Yes yes, “play ball with the people who control your job.” I’ve been here a year and I’ve already heard it all before. Go away, cue ball.

And yet you still insist that a much smaller carrier, at great risk of shut down or losing flying, should've voted no to protect your own interests.

Pot, meet kettle.

....
That’s just it, there weren’t. Not until PSA raised their hand.
2013-2018 was the bubble shortage while guys went from needing 250 hrs to needing an ATP. The places that took planes used it to advertise quick upgrades triggering lateral moves, recycling their seniority and allowing the whipsaw to continue.

Your guys screwed the industry and everybody else in it for self advancement on the backs of everybody else. Yep, that was a different pilot group.... yet, you’re over here spouting the exact rationalizations they did. You belong exactly where you are, and if you’re representative of the average PSA guy, then the group hasn’t changed and will screw anybody over so long as it help them.
Congratulations, you’ve validated the whipsaw again with a new generation.

How much flying did you lose?
How many planes did you lose?
How many pilots did you lose?

Your guys never even put a fight, do you not comprehend that pilot groups around you voted at least 7 times to reject concessions, all at great risk to themselves.... you just don’t get it. You’re definitely a PSA pilot.

Cujo get over it already. It's been 6-7 years. You don't even work here yet insist on telling the same PSA rant on every thread. Are you looking at your ex gf from high schools Facebook every night too? Move on.

What part about "I flew for a contractor that owned neither its airplanes or its flying" do you not understand?

Who all of a sudden finds himself very near the top of the regional QOL / Pay structure because of the leverage that the pilot group decided to accumulate starting in late 2013.

Strategic Retreat.
