Did you really think you would get the money an hour sooner than they have to pay it?

I don't understand the point of this thread. They have until a certain date. It hasn't been reached yet.

That too. I’m with you 100%

At this point the company should know a course of action. It would just be nice for the union to inform us how they are going to proceed. I read somewhere you can expect back pay mid september.

Actually not that difficult if they’re just applying a change in rate with backpay.

All they have to do is change your rate and input the effective date. The payroll system in phx then automatically backpays you.

I used to do pay auditing.

Probably half the pilot group has changed rates during this period:
Annual rate
Upgrades
B to C band

I admit I don’t know anything about the computer system they use for pay, but I could see how it’s more than just changing one number.

That said... it still isn’t 2 months worth of work either.

If it’s just a rate change and nothing more then all they literally have to do is enter the rate and have HR update the effective date of the rate change. The Pay Team and system in phx recognizes the change and pays accordingly with backpay. It is THE only thing in the whole pay system that works and works well.

It takes longer for them to calculate which way is cheaper for them than to actually implement it.

I heard management doesn’t care about the September 30th deadline and they’re taking their time manually correcting our pay sheets to give us the actual difference.

Is the starting pay for a FO still right according to the site stating it’s 50.22 or somewhere in there or was there a raise from that?

Well since I did not get my raise yet then your answer is no or there is a discrimination suit
