It’s unfortunate how many well qualified applicants are being rejected by our selection team. It seems as if they are targeting folks with a 4 year degree and turbine experience. However, Envoy is known for becoming very picky and then very desperate. Give it until Q2 of next year and we will start hiring everyone and anyone again. The big 3 are looking to hire 1,000 plus each next year, not to mention LCCs and ULCCs.

Merry Christmas folks.
Wow, what a banner year at Envoy. The flow engine is now fully spooled and humming like a Shelby Cobra. On the other end, Envoy is inundated with pipeline candidates just clamoring for their chance to get in the door. It is very competitive and unfortunately there is a long waiting list. 2020 is going to be incredible. It’s truly the best time ever at Envoy. This isn’t your Dad’s “American Eagle.” This is Envoy which far and away blows away anything of that former shell. Where else can you hire on to a major airline as a pipeline candidate? Nowhere is the answer. That’s why the qualifications and interview are so tough.

The one thing that is humming like a Shelby Cobra is outside attrition, especially in the more senior group of pilots. Something that hasn't been happening until now.

Fun fact, the flow shrinks by 9 per month in two weeks and after the L10-11’s are gone will be based on a ratio which given the current staffing numbers will never get above 21 per month. So please tell me again how you and your fellow Kool-Aide drinkers are going to sell the flow to aspiring cadets. So your Shelby Cobra is about to be downgraded to a Escort LX wagon.
