Ok so CMH is home, and if we compare Envoy juniour base which would likely be ORD but reserve time is long vs Peidmont juniour base which likely would be PHL and reserve is 3 months if am not mistakened.

I don’t know enough about PSA to argue PSA v ENY. I do know that commuting “down” a time zone helps a lot. ORD also has two airline hubs versus one in PHL. That equates to twice the flights (plus MDW as a side bonus emergency outlet).

For the Envoy vs PDT discussion, I'd take Envoy. At that point it's really like picking your 5th or 6th favorite color. PHL seems to be a fairly miserable place to operate and your commute is probably limited compared to commuting to other hubs. ORD should be an easy commute, but if you are looking at ORD, you have plenty of other regionals to consider.

How does bidding for bases work at envoy? You do it every month and it takes effect 3 months later or are you seat locked in certain airframe for certain bases? Trying to figure out if I’ll be able to get Dfw as an FO and captain in a reasonable timeframe of about 3-5 months.
