it could create confusion, when you check in with an upgraded listing it removes de FDJ next to your name. If there are other guys trying to get it, they might skip you.
Your post makes it seem like you believe you can jumpseat on A travel. |

So if you bid LGA straight out of training and don't get get it, when can you re-bid for it??? I know SkyWest allows you to bid every month, but not sure about Envoy.

You should never take the jumpseat over another pilot if you’re using a a12. Gate agents will allow it but it’s incredibly bad form and a crappy thing to do to someone on actual standby. If you wanna jumpseat d1 or d2.
If you pick up OT out of a different base, you can call scheduling and ask for a dhd back to base on the last day, it is at discretion of CS to give you it; however; if they do they will give you an A12 pass at which point I am trying to get back home just as the guy next to me. |

I'm fairly certain if you purposely bid for LGA, you will not receive the A pass tickets and hotels.

If I am trying to get home and it is the last seat in the plane hmmm idk maybe If I have the priority I will take it instead of getting bumped. A12 is not confirmed as it would be a regular deadhead.

Careful, that D2 that should have been on the jumpseat may report you.
If I am dhd for work and I have a confirmed seat in the back that’s a different story, I am not going to volunteer for the jumpseat so the company can sell an extra seat and bump another fellow commuter. How does that make sense you cant take a jumpseat if you are trying to commute back home just as bad as the guy next to you? You are both on the dame stand by list. |
