Envoy commuter polict to LGA
 

Just interviewed and was briefed about the commuter policy to LGA. Company paid hotel for 3 months along with positive space travel for 3 months. Then 4 hotel rooms per month. How does this work out?? Seems like they're making it a better deal for LGA pilots to commute without the hassle etc. Also, in the company brief, we were told it's about 3-6 months before holding a line at LGA. I actually want LGA as a base becasue of the ease of commute from SAV so the 3 months of positive space travel and 3 months of company paid hotels seems like a pretty good deal to me. Thoughts?????

Yikes, that changes allot. I was going with Envoy becasue they appeared to make the commute from SAV to LGA fairly easy and somewhat stressfree. Need to try and get ATL or LGA as a base.

The LGA guys can comment because they know better, you can think of it as a very high priority standby. But if a plane is full, you are not riding on it.

No they didn't. All ORD, and it is going to stay that way for a while.
And there were pilots bidding for LGA who didn't get it in the last vacancy bid.

It took Dera awhile to figure out that Envoy isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread and to kinda start acting like a line pilot instead of a huge management sympathizer. But it seems like he's slowly starting to figure it out. Envoy will eventually beat it out of anyone that's on the frontlines long enough.
