so you’re saying you should cancel your A12 and book D2 or maybe even burn a “vacation” pass just to be on the same level. Ok that makes sense.
If I am dhd for work and I have a confirmed seat in the back that’s a different story, I am not going to volunteer for the jumpseat so the company can sell an extra seat and bump another fellow commuter.
How does that make sense you cant take a jumpseat if you are trying to commute back home just as bad as the guy next to you? You are both on the dame stand by list.

What doesn't make sense is giving out A12 travel 'privileges' under the guise of 'positive space'. It is not.

“Revenue passenger” would be the best term I can come up with.
Pos space - that plane ain’t leaving without you.
Revenue passenger - once you have a seat on the plane then they aren’t likely going to kick you off. You are at the top of the standby list but less than the over sale passengers.
Non Rev- no explanation needed.
