Yeah, no seat lock, no pay. Contract allows them to do this it appears. It makes sense for them to do this too. Not doing any vacancies anytime soon. And with all the 140s we're parking and all the 175s coming in the near future, I bet they want people to be able to vacancy bid to the 175 when they do get to run a vacancy. The last part is just a guess though.

That would be a displacement and the seat lock didn’t matter for that. There were seatlocked DECs displaced to other aircraft in the past, they’d just renew the seat lock on the new equipment for the extra pay.
