64 airplanes to operate a 40 airplane CPA and they still have some of the worst performing flights?

I don't disagree. Why do you think AAG is reducing their contract? Hint. Slowly weeding them out. Who do you think is going to replace that capacity? Another hint. Look at which forum you are in.

I didn't know that they spelled Skywest E-N-V-O-Y.

That's why skywest signed with aag to extend contract for 700's, the a new contract for 20 more 700's and on top of that 20 e175's were signed.
thats why republic is back in ord and were out of NY while republic picks up east coast flying.

I think Republic will take the NY area coupled with jetBlue blue but we’d probably return to ORD and maybe do some kind of mixed flying with republic out of MIA until the slight chance we get EOW/ETOPS equipped. PHX is something I always thought we’d might get during the LAX rumor since SKW runs a monopoly out there essentially now at this point. But now that they took 20 CRJs and with 40 Mesa CRJ’s I don’t know how we will ever get that as a base. Frustrating since we always perform really good but cost always wins.

EOW and ETOPS are two different things.

Ok I’ll rephrase, let’s say ENY shoves life rafts into the airplane to get EOW or gets certified to fly longer than 60 minutes from an adequate airport to become ETOPS certified. Trying to avoid a knowledge ****ing match here fellas just a discussion on future bases!

EOW doesn't require rafts. It's a relatively easy op spec to get. Life vests (seats already have the holders), safety briefing card and tape, and FAA approved dispatch procedures with a few observation runs.
It's not a "slight chance" for Envoy to get it, it's already in the works.

I have to agree, as much as it pains me to say so. I would love to have a west coast base with PHX being a great option as well, however, don't see it in the near future. Skywest and Mesa just have all the flying, I don't see how we would fit in. Too bad really, would be nice to fly in that part of the country more often.
