Junior CA is in the 1500 seniority range. Also due to the nature of airlines you will have more CAs than FOs so the minimum amount of CAs at Envoy right now would be 1200ish.

Looking at the union comm that was sent and cross checked with the flow plan it looks like the most junior captain is a DCE at 1287

Our MEC just went to an ACMI carrier that doesn't even require an ATP anymore.

Lets get some facts straight, that ACMI carrier is recruiting collegiate R-ATP applicants for the 737 fleet only.

Still require a ATP and experience to get hired into the other fleets.

With Envoy hiring now, approximately how long will it take to get the furloughed folks back/trained before a new hire class is brought on board?

EDIT ----Disregard, I see someone a few posts back said probably a few months at the soonest. Thanks.

So are they taking applications or interviewing now or not? I figure they need to know when the last recall will be finished but then they can schedule normal classes after that.

Asking for a friend....

To the best of my knowledge they just announced the hiring just to draw attention as everyone else is onboarding and they might look bad. But in reality a couple of weeks/months from the actual new hire/previous cjo recall classes.

I’ll be interested to see how many of the furloughs come back.

This. The Atlas side is still competitive. 121 PIC time pretty much required.

They aren’t allowing deferrals, so if we don’t accept recall, they are considering it our resignation. For that reason alone, most will be coming back. Plus all of us still owe money for ATP-CTP and bonuses.

Might want to avoid referring to yourself when talking about a relatively small group that could potentially identify you. You never want to be on the wrong side of the social media police and be identifiable. Just saying.

So you’re saying you have heard...
