MIA or DFW

How long is it taking a new hire to bid MIA or DFW ?

Mia is a special case as it’s 175 only. If You are assigned 145 in training, which apparently happens to most people who are not in the cadet program, you cannot go to the 175 until upgrade.

How about DFW. ? Also where would a new FO possibly be able to fly more in the beginning? DFW or ORD ? Also where could one achieve a line sooner ?

If I am already typed in the 175 do I get it? Or will it still depend on class seniority and all that…

it doesnt matter. Ive seen them put people through training on an aircraft, fly 1 trip then back to old jet.

Next bid, if on schedule, will be announced in December.
whatever you put in now won't matter much
But -
3P/ORD/CA/ATR/D Enter a bid preference3P/MOVE 1 to 5 Move a bid preference3P/CANCEL 1 Cancel a standing bid, this cancels choice number 1 3D/LAX/FO/SF3/D Enter displacement preference3D/MOVE 1 TO 3 Move displacement preference3D/CANCEL 3 Cancel displacement preference, number 3 from list

3* to check. DFW/ORD/MIA, E75 and EMJ I believe for the 145
