Default Miami Base

Anyone know how the basing is going for new hires at Envoy? Interested in Miami Base. I am sure this has been asked before, just wondering what the latest is.

How many classes per month? What are they giving for class start dates?

Thanks

2 classes per month, classes for new hires seem to be suspended indefinitely, they are focusing on prior 121 and cadets. I’ve been waiting over 2 months to get scheduled. Bases and assignments are kind of random. Just depends what the needs are at that time and what vacancies they have. There’s another thread you should look through. Some classes are mostly dfw which is supposed to be senior with no Chicago and others are split. Miami is supposed to be a middle of the pack but lots of people get it right out of training.

My nephew told me the class that started Monday had nearly 40 students. Less than 5 were prior 121. Rest were CFI’s. All were offered ORD or MIA on the E175 jet.

Classes start every Monday. Class size varies by how many actually show up. MIA had been offered for awhile and you can always transfer to it, assuming you get the E175 and not the E145.

Indoc had been happening every two weeks back in May/June, doubt that has changed.

145 is extremely unlikely at this point.

Base assignment transfers have been happening even before IOE so also a possibility. With that said there has been some displacement risk to balance the pilots around. I’m at the bottom and not too worried. Better to be on the train with some commuting than sitting sideline hoping to hit the lotto.

Typo above. All were offered ORD or DFW. SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION. MIA was not offered to Monday’s class.
