My concern with #2 is really amplified by the AA flow from Envoy... if AA were to somehow find out about this 20 years down the road, they might fire you for how you answered that question.
TX labor law might not protect you just because some other state sealed the records.
Also, in the grand scheme, fake ID is a pretty negligible offense, I very seriously doubt the disclosing a one-time incident of that nature would affect your employment (especially since it adjudicated and sealed). Lying OTH will definitely affect your employment and there's no statute of limitations or real union protections if the event occurred before you were a union member.
Maybe ask your lawyer about TX law vs the state in which this incident happened?

Yeah I'd agree that's best. Wouldn't want it hanging over my head for years or decades. Stuff has come back to haunt people, most famously Auburn Calloway.
The fact that it's sealed will be a plus for the airline. They prefer that any such issues be sealed/expunged so as to not be discoverable by the public (media).

I was arrested for the same thing. Hired an attorney and it was brought down to a misdemeanor and later expunged. When I was hired by envoy I didn’t think I had to disclose it since it was expunged but it still came up on the background check. Was no big deal they just asked about it and wanted me to clarify it, no biggie. This was 9 years ago. I would just disclose it to them now so if it does pop up on the background check it’s already accounted for. Dont sweat it, it’s no big deal.
