CCI is super picky Haha.... but yes, There is many occasion where people either cheat cci or conveniently forget to sign in and wait for Crew Sched to call and confirm they made it.

"Hey first officer _____, we see you haven't signed in for your trip. You there?"

"Ooops, yeah I'm here. Sorry forgot to sign in"

The reserve rules are currently being completely rewritten. You're asking crystal ball questions.

Do you guys really think only pilots read this stuff. If you want to ruin a good thing, keep advertising it like this.

Finally took the plunge and decided to quit Envoy/Eagle. Best decision I ever made, wasn't sure at first but now I'm completely stress free.

Wish things could rewind and MIA/all the other bases would stay open. But commuting cross country for this garbage isn't worth it. I believed the hype for awhile, waiting on the possibility of retention bonuses and a shot at an upgrade but I got tired of the lies and deceit. Between the completely uncommutable schedules, 0 help from the company to get to work, and a complete lack of regard for their pilots I threw in the towel.

Good luck to all.

Sure thing! Is that the carrot for the fall/winter? Is it true the next bid will include displacements since the 145's is fat on the captain side?

Good Luck!

Life on reserve at Envoy…

You shouldn't have a problem with being two hours away on reserve. In the year plus that I have been on reserve I have had them once give me a two hour call out. The only assignments they give two hour call outs are for ready reserve. Every flight assignment I have received has always been more than 3 hours out. If you look at the reserve list the night before and know you are going to get called the next day then just call them and get your assignment. When you are at home on a 10 am RAP and something is in open time call at 9 and get your assignment. If there are several things open and you know you are going to get called then they will assign it to you then. More than half the assignments I get I call crew scheduling to pick it up. And usually they will ask what trip I want.

I have even heard of some people once they get 1 or 2 from the bottom will go ahead and make a 30 minute drive and wait.

If you are close to the bottom of the list then you will have no problem getting your assignment the night before if there are things in open time.

Good luck,

I can never get CCI to sign in at DFW…it always says I'm 276 yards away!
