What's the consequences? Easy enough, our union working for us to help us move to better places. Pilots leaving because the company can't man up and say "ok guys, let's keep talking". AAG is the one that closed the door after we voted. So I'm really enjoying the quite month from all the management BS and negotiations. We had a bad 3 years already, it's good to relieve some of the pressure. Remember that ALPA was the one doing management work for the last 10yrs. Now management have to work for the first time in many years. |
lets just put this to rest, AAG can go shove it. There is no need to talk, we have a contract, PERIOD. They want to send the E175's else where, they can do what ever they want with them, main point is that AAG is going to have to pay a lot more for the non owned feeder to take the e175's.
Also for those who go around and say that eagle envoy is not cost competitive or cost to much because of it high seniority of pilots, you are going to have to show me financials compared to the other regionals of same size and no you can not use management says so. AAG will be saying that to APA soon also. I am still waiting now three months for the announcement for these other feeders who were knocking down AAG door for the feed envoy was going to do with the e175, what is taking so long DUI DOUG, Kirby needs next months mortgage payment, whatis taking so long. Lets get it over with, AAG cant park aircraft fast enough to match the staffing loss as it is so the bad news wont make a difference. |

Wondered about this myself. I think everyone is assuming that USAir will be snapped up to APA rates. But I seen the more likely scenario as APA being told they need the structure, like we were told. I can't see them just agreeing to the pay disparity that easily. It is a false economy to suggest that they can't pay "more" for their feed than other airlines do. If that is even the case.
If they go ch 11 before the mou rates which I think are summer 2016 American guys will be left screwed. The rates are setup to snap to the average of ual and dal. |
the current ceo will take UCAL to bankruptcy and then new CEO will bring them out of BK and a new paint scheme, but they will keep the uniforms.

We just got a company email stating that the latest vacancy bid that had already been awarded (DFW CRJ) has been canceled.

getting more details.
The offer was good enough that Envoy management backed it strongly enough that they pitched it to AAG themselves. |

Sounds to me like usair management came and overrode our management. They had some short term plan on our side of the house and scot said oh no no no.
They have said this fall they will realign the rj side of the house, seems like that's the cause. Expect massive changes. |
