Mason, why would it be necessary to acquire data to further threaten us? Does this mean they are planning on coming back to the negotiating table? They've already said we won't be getting the new airplanes so ...

Hey Mason,
Why don't you shut it down for a while... Your info as of late is crap and all you do is spew bs. Maybe you and your golf buddies don't know as much as you think you do.

Umm actually the latest thing he said is pretty accurate! I won't divulge my source though so don't ask.

Jerry Glass is the one with threats, we just responded with a big NO. They said the MEC didn't represented the voice of the pilots, and they where wrong.

We have to keep it together guys, the war is just starting. They keep saying "we are in negotiations with other regionals", sound like they are emphasizing too much so when they come back the excuse will be "hey guys, we have again a regional aligned, but we will give you a break for the 4th time". They will come back with concessions, and this time they will probably offer some numbers or more incentives.

I think that if the last deal had attached AA numbers, probably passed. If they offer it now, the deal will probably pass.

What does "attach AA numbers" mean? You guys already have a flow through to AA, correct?

Can you imagine how the integration would happen with the AA/US lists, post merger hires, and Eagle hires? And why is Eagle so special? AAG owns PSA and PDT as well.

Jvw700 05-22-2014 07:35 AM

Because we've had numbers before. A few hundred guys got actual seniority numbers years ago during another round of negotiating so it's just a way of getting their TA to pass without any real cost to AAG...

We all have our sources... I think it's best if we don't take everything at face value from this guy. Just a word to the wise Mason is not as in the loop as many on here think he is. His intentions are good, but he doesn't know as much as he thinks he does. Take it or leave it

What was their hire date based on?

They were attached to the bottom of the seniority list at the time. 15 years later their numbers were finally called when AA started hiring and recalling again.

If I don't miss my guess, based on what I'm hearing your union will call a meeting soon. Your National will likely show up and tell them exactly what I've told you. I'd call it a scared straight session.
Glass has very very good intel on all your union leaders. He's as cunning as they get when it comes to union busting. Know thy enemy.

Based off what I have heard this is pretty accurate. Now about the company coming back to the table? Is this the need for further threats and intimidation?
