I hope you don't want that to happen kiddo. A regional merger is going to be straight date of hire integration. Every time and twice on Sunday. I like my coffee black, and don't just throw the gear handle up: hold it until it gently rests in its final position. Mmmkay. Thanks pumpkin:)

Not speculation anymore. MEC met the last 2 days and are drafting a counter proposal to be delivered to management next week. Will it go anywhere? Who knows....

Everyone knows, it won't. AAG wants the same thing they offered last time but this time they can only offer us what is left of the 170s and a further delayed "first 30 a month" flow. The original proposal had the flow beginning in September, after summer, and after hiring in preparation for the larger flow.

This is all pointless wasted time.

While DoH wouldn't happen at 2 ALPA carriers nowadays this is humorous I suppose. :D

I don't want it to happen I was just posting a "popcorn" picture as us young'uns are wont to do.:p

Actually, that's not entirely correct. In their infinite wisdom over at psa, they accepted a preferential hiring interview over there, not a flow. In addition to the interview numbers they are guaranteed, which has been upheld I'm told, PSA has the right if need be to with hold upto 4 pilots a month (coincidentally also the number of guaranteed interview slots per month) from going to usair for up to one years time. That means to the pilot withheld, no seniority number for up to a year ala lost seniority. as long as staffing sucks there, it will continue to happen. I say good, those idiots deserve it for what they voted in.

DOH would be a rather large windfall for a good majority of eagle pilots and a large step back in career expectations for a good majority of PSA pilots.

This goes against ALPA's current merger doctrine.

Whatever both of us say is pure speculation and you will continue to pull the "I'm older than you so I'm correct" card.

I'll just go ahead and agree with you to save us the trouble.

The federal arbitrator, Block, did category, class, and career expectations, as well as relative seniority on their respective seniority list when he merged the list for Mesaba, Colgan, and Pinnacle. It wasn't pretty, and only favored the very senior, and most of Colgan. The other 2/3 got hosed. I'm thinking the majority are wishing we gat date of hire integration
