Default Merger seniority?

How do you think your seniority will fare through the merger? I wonder what kind of leverage will be able to keep at envoy since we are the larger carrier right now? I guess if they shrink us down to about 1600 - 1700 then it would equal about PSA + Piedmont so my guess is that we are gonna be stuck with that 12 year payscale. I wonder if I'll be able to get grandfathered? Maybe I'll be forced to flow... Kind of wish I wasn't making so much damn money now to take that $100,000 pay cut at AA...

Size and longevity of a pilot group are quickly made irrelevant in a merger when an arbitrator becomes involved. They put a lot of weight on each group's career expectations. This is how the East/West split came to be at Airways. The older East group was dying on the vine so the arbitrator gave greater weight to the smaller, junior West pilots.

Most of us believe that a merger is coming. We should all be asking ourselves what kind of career expectations this MEC has given us.

Career expectations and this MEC don't go very well. They are all gone either by flow or quit to go somewhere else.

God save us.

No element of my post lacks maturity. Tony made a habit of lying during his tenure as MEC chair. Why would he (or you) behave any differently here? Deny it all you want. The similarity in your name and Tony's, combined with the fact that you are here touting his "achievements" when Tony has virtually NO allies here at Eagle are all highly suspect.

Posting under a pseudonym on a forum while bashing Val is just something that a childish, immature and morally devoid human being such as Tony would do, and it wouldn't be the first time either. Remember "idiothater"?

Oh but whoops, charging the $5 Eaglelounge joining fee to the personal ALPA expense account doesn't work very well when the mods can track it down.

Can't use that ironic pseudonym anymore...

Careful. Your crazy is starting to show. You are entitled to believe whatever you want, whether it be factual or fictitious. Just try not to hurt bystanders as you barrel though life.

I also wouldn't say I'm "touring his achievements." It is historically factual in his role in the 824. Saying anything otherwise is simply smearing historical facts to further what appears to be a personal vendetta.

I'm merely assimilating all available information and known facts in order to come to a logical conclusion. There's absolutely nothing crazy about that.

You however fail to present any tangible facts which would serve to nullify my allegations. Instead you attempt to paint me as a fringe crazy in an attempt to marginalize my point. Classical Tony move...

According to the PSA New Hire thread, half of the new hires are former envoy FO's.

If their god Douggie told them that the company's balance sheet would be enchanced if they all committee suicide simultaneously, their airline would go from 800 pilots to nearly zero overnight.

They believe and parrot whatever he wants for them to...

I would've done the same if I was them. There is and there will be NO progression at envoy.

But standing for the industry! Pilot shortage! No one else can staff them!
