Youre correct on one thing, and that is you can't trust the company. That is one of the reasons we needed the AIP. Our bankruptcy contract is full of holes thanks to the Team Tony regime. Sprague and pals did their best to close grey areas and loopholes in the AIP. The legal process is there because no one can truly trust their company, right now we're at a disadvantage because the language we have currently is tremendously weak.

We fell on our swords to defend a contract that was industry average at best. Now FOs will remain FOs while guys at other carriers will be able to build PIC time and move on quicker than we will be able to. Rick's comment was he wanted to leave the regipnals ASAP, voting no on the AIP was not the way to do that.

As I've said before it's all water under the bridge at this point, what is done is done. I feel sorry for the pilot group at Envoy, I'm glad I won't be around when this thing hits the ground.

You should want that. Because it means all the lazy dumb-f's don't move on. If someone failed 3 PCs or was always calling out sick every month for years I wouldn't want them at mainline either. I knew a guy who interviewed at DAL who called in 24 times in the last 3 years (no, he didn't get hired). When I pressed him, he admitted he uses sick time for schedule adjustment.

I hate to say it but it almost seems like flows limit the talent pool to the mainline carrier. All the good talent that has the ability to leave before their flow date is gone to DAL, UAL, SWA, etc. Realistically, I would expect most people who have an offer to take it over waiting another couple years for a flow.

BZZT, I cannot argue with what you said. Good luck to all.

NAME USER a flow is a flow not an interview. What happens, happens but should not limit your flow possibility.

So I guess it's safe to assume you're the 10% that ties up 90% of management's time .
