Ric said that. Ultimately it's not up to him..its AA who makes the call. There is sim time available globally..including in Europe and I believe Brazil. Hashimoto doesn't want to screw up again...he's aware of the problem. He already has egg on his face from the decision to give so much flying to Mesa and not rectifying the MIA problem sooner.

So basically he's looking at getting a promotion!!

God I wish they would can some of these guys. They can't think outside the box which I guess is pretty typical of modern day corporate America.

JR lineholder in ORD 145 its being here 5 months.

I believe CRJ is around 6-7 months.
E-175 should be around 3-4 months.
E145 DFW is still around 2 yrs.

I agree. Hashimoto needs to be the first to go. All the current problems AA has with their Regional feed-including issues at Envoy-can be traced to his actions in 2014/2015. He was summoned and had to do a carpet dance..if it's any consolation. He was told by Parker and other higher ups to get things in line quick.

He's reluctantly reversing many of his own decisions..but as with any large ego he is having a hard time fully admitting he was wrong. He still wants to blame external factors.

Everything about the AAG regional management is a series of missteps and avoidable mistakes. They are all horribly mismanaged.
