You mean per the contract, which they spent months violating with no consequences.

3 years for me, and dozens of times on 4am.

Per the arbitrator saying they had to follow that portion of the contract yes. I've been on reserve nearly 4 years by choice there are many ways around the 4 am. If you are a line holder it may not seem that way, but there are.

I mean I had it happen to me a lot while they were violating the contract and giving 10am default RAP to junior pilots. And not honoring proffers.

It shouldn't take an arbitrator to get compliance. The arbitrator caved on default RAPs because they were operationally necessary. And we waited over 2 years for that ruling. Imagine the future flow grievance...

It definitely should not take an arbitrator to rule on that I agree. The arbitrator said they could preassign because it doesn't specifically lay it out in the contract that they couldn't do that, it wasn't operational necessity. A load of crap that they can do thay I know, but the flow agreement lays out what the minimum number is.

This place has its issues and we should focus on those instead of making up ones that haven't happened and hopefully never will happen. Schedules are crap, reserve historically is too long, upgrades are currently too long, everything is punitive here. I'll stand by you on these issues but I think it's worth less to try and predict what the next violation will be.

I'm on the bottom of the list in dfw and so far I have proffer for trips.
Then I got them or 10 am rap. Why do you complain so much? Why don't you say the whole truth and not just half of it. The company is not great.
However it is not as bad as you said you and cr700, ccuj and others that come to this forum should stop coming here, if you don't have true information of what's going on here. I know that you are mad at the company but because of that you don't have to say half of the truth on what's going on here.

Pre assigned RAPS have only been going on since May(ish) 2015 so not sure why you got it for three years.

However I would say it's easier to get off the early RAP in DFW vs ORD. More senior guys don't bid off rap 1 because they live in base and try to avoid getting called out. ORD isn't staffed as well as DFW also.

I am starting to go through the AOM Vol.1 to learn my limitations for the ERJ. We weren't told yet which ones we should concentrate on. Can I safely assume they are the ones which have dashed boxes around them?

You are assuming correctly.

Pretty much all text is fair game. The charts that are dashed boxes are ones where you have to know cold too.

Look at page 1 of limitations it's explains about the dashed boxes.

But seriously know the dashed boxes word for word cold. Stay ahead of the game and you will be just fine.
