First "true failures" proboly 2 a class... Most that list above were guys that left on the own accord... Most the failures get retraining and pass. Yes there is a odd ball that doesn't... I talked to a guy they sent home after 2 failures and said go get more experience and come back.. Just saw him back.. There not out to get anyone...

I would recommend Envoy to anyone. Especially those who live in DFW or ORD. I flowed to AA and can't say enough about how they treat us here, and the pay is excellent. Not to mention the company giving us 16% of our income into a 401k, for free. Envoy treated me well and I felt the contract was one of the best in the regional industry. Going to a regional without a flow takes more years to end up at a major for most. Majority stay for 4 or 5 years, then get on with a LCC. Then end up there for several years, before they land that major job where all the retirements will be coming from. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

To the OP:
As an envoy pilot, I am usually pretty down about envoy, mostly due to our company's gun-to-the-head negotiating style, repeated contract violations, etc. I will make this point about the flow through, take it FWIW: AAG is cheap. They are artists of penny-pinching. They love saving nickels, even if it costs them dollars to do so. The flow through is the cheapest possible recruitment program (coupled with lying to recruits, which is equally cheap, and which they won't hesitate to do). But the flow through only works as a recruitment tool if it actually works, and then word gets out about it. So there is a real incentive for them to make it work. And AA and US pilots are the two oldest groups out there, so it certainly seems like it will work at least close to advertised. That being said, what do you trust more, the weather forecast for 2 or 3 days from now, or the one for a day next month? I have confidence that the flow through will work well for those who have already been on the property for a few years or more, but nobody knows what exactly will happen for the pilot being hired today. The main benefit of the flow through that a new hire today could reasonably count on is the movement it will trigger. And that is a good thing for everyone at envoy. But beyond a few years out the entire regional industry will look different, there will have to be some consolidation or something as the regionals shrink even further, ISIS could do something bad, hell could freeze over, etc. There is also the "reserve pilots are treated like garbage, as is the contract" argument against envoy, though I suspect most regional management teams are pretty similar. Different people have different experiences. To summarize: envoy isn't that bad of an option right now. But you shouldn't choose to commute for that long for a promise too many years away, not unless you had no other decent options. Skywest and Compass are more than decent.
