I'm new here too - trying to get information on Regionals, and which company to approach, and all I see is a bunch of squabbling schoolgirls.

Call yourselves mature aviation professionals?

Could have fooled me.

Grow up, and stop being a bunch of *****y little minxes.

Liar...... Also I don't remember one of us saying we were mature.

No kidding. Time to find a more professional place to meet actual professionals to talk to. (Don't get me wrong, some people have reached out and helped via PM)

Its amazing what a few years does to a regional. Wasn't envoy ...errr I mean american eagle top notch with +3000 pilots and bases in lax, ord, dfw, jfk & sju? Now two bases left, half the pilot group painting a rosey picture huh skyvector? Come be RSC for life!

Because if it's who I think is behind the screen name, he's probably got good info from a reputable, high-up contact but will only be given such info as long as details are not revealed early.

Recent upper management shifts at big brother have placed people who favor envoy/WO over contract carriers into power. They've recognized envoy's increased operational quality as of late.

Despite qol still lacking here, once and for all, finally, I think things will be changing for the better, beyond catching up (or at least getting a lot closer) on newbie pay rates.

AAG has too many regionals, IMO. I think streamlining is coming soon. Timed with more favorable management at big brother and the merger items at mainline just about done, focus will turn towards the regionals.

We'll see where the cards fall but after years of dark clouds, I think we may see some sun here at eaglevoy.

3300+, and don't forget BOS and MIA. That being said, I hope this alleged good news isn't about getting planes back or growing. Good news = more flow, not more incentive for them to meter.

Considering envoy.. Any info?

Got a response asking to call and set up an interview. Hopefully I'll get a slot for this Thursday or Friday. Any advice?

(Positive contributions only, please)

Edit: my goal is DFW/175 can we still get those in contract?

How's life at Air Wisconsin? You obviously haven't gotten over it. Life sucks being at a dying airline doesn't it? Don't worry..you always have Mesa to make Air Wisconsin seem almost not so bad.

The gouge on aviation interviews is spot on. It's worth the money.

They didn't hire for the 175 in September in order to let the school house catch up, but I am sure they will in the future. I go to class in Jan, and want it as well, but the more I think about it, the better the 145 sounds in either base because that is where the upgrades are coming off of. The 175 is the junior plane and you'll have less upward movement on it. Good luck to you.
