I posted on a different envoy thread and never got a response so here it goes again hopefully somebody can answer my questions.
I have an interview on the 10 th of next month and I have a couple of questions about life at Envoy. I want to get DFW for sure, what is my best option ERJ145 or 175? Also how is QOL in general? how many consecutive days off? how many on the road? Reserves for a new hire? |

You'll be reserve for a while, usually three days off between. If you live in base it isn't bad. 175s are only in DFW, for now. There will be more movement in the 145 and they will be in all bases, seems the safest bet long term. lots of new hires coming in the next few months. |

Also how is QOL in general? how many consecutive days off? how many on the road? Reserves for a new hire? QOL is still an issue. The main issue is schedules and it doesn't seem to be getting better. This is by far the easiest and quickest fix issue to solve. AAG needs to provide Envoy better flight routes and more mid-day flying. Until that happens average line values will be 72 hrs with 14 days off. So if you are junior then you will be getting 72 hrs and 11 days off. This causes people to bid reserve instead of lines. Reserve isn't too bad. It all depends on how many people they have on reserve. It's a pain if you have to commute because the last day isn't guaranteed to be commutable. First day starts at 4am unless you can trade out of it. You get 11 days off per month. Three sets of three days off in a row is what you are going to end up with. 3-3-3-2 or 1-3-3-3-1 is how they group your days off for the month. You usually end up with 4or five day stretches where you have to work. Things are honestly looking better but thee are still some issues. |
